Billet Families Wanted

Added: Friday, May 30, 2008

One important aspect of being a nationally competitive hockey program is its billet families (host families). The Team Maryland Midget AAA program is currently looking to match our out-of-town student athletes with great people who are enthusiastic about the sport of hockey and the opportunity to become a billet family. Billet families open their homes to the young athletes, easing their transition and providing them with a home away from home. Becoming a billet family can be a rewarding experience and many long lasting friendships develop between players and their billets. Players stay in billets’ home during the school year from August through June. During the day the player is at school and in the evenings the player is usually busy with either hockey or homework.

If you have room in your home and are interested in participating in the program, or need any additional information, please email either Head Coach Jason Kersner at or Director of Coaching Dan Houck at .
